Been playing this game for quite a while. I'm on the Coeurl server on the Crystal Data Center. If you have any questions or are looking for someone to play with, just message me on steam/discord/forums. Also there is a free trial for up to level 35 so you don't have to pay anything until you've tried the game.

There is a great amount of activities available throughout the game that require 4, 8 and even 24 people in an activity.

So much to do, so much to learn, so much to play.

The stories that FFXIV share are incredibly immersive and emotional at most times.

I too am on Crystal Data Center but on Diabolos Server - BUT for those that don't know, you can visit other worlds as long as they are on the same Data Center. However, you cannot be in the same Free Company (Guild/Clan) if you are on a different Server.

Also, Au Ra, best race in FFXIV - my Dragongirl looking cuuuuute UwU

Well I drafted a wonderful plan for leadership to look over while this poll is to gauge general community interest. The "how" has been mostly thought out and I'd love to answer any questions you might have.

Overall, don't ever see the harm in trying to expand out in to more games. If the game doesn't work then we stop supporting it, if it does then we expand eGO. There can be almost no harm in beginning support on a game.
 
I don't like this question, people who play this game will vote yes others who have never heard of this game before will vote no. It doesn't show if eGO should support it, its more of a question of who in eGO has heard of this game before

Unfortunately with polls there has to be at least two options. I'm sure the amount of actual Yes votes matters more than the percentage of "No" votes. We've supported games that have had more no votes than yes. It's just a good easy way to gauge general community interest. The poll has only been up for a day as well, so there's plenty of time left to vote, not everybody checks the forums daily.
 
No harm is trying it out, if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. My only advice for ya if this supported is to get a team behind you ASAP, without my team things would take much longer and move much slower.

Luna Luna , just a few questions i have cause im kinda curious. Is this a server based game like CSGO or is it more lik WOW/WOWShips with just clans? How would people play together (wow has raids, d2 has quests and raids, wowships has platoons)?

The game is an MMORPG closer to WoW than your other mentioned games. Players are organized into Guilds/Clans known as "Free Companies" and can only be in one free company at a time on a character.

Playing together members can run about in the open world doing Treasure Maps, Hunts, and "FATEs" although not many people do FATEs anymore, 4 player dungeons, 8-Player "Trials" and Raids, and 24 Player "Alliance Raids". Players can also work towards getting a Free Company House and decorating it as they see fit. There are also a variety of other activities players can partake in as well.

Parties are typically made up of 1 Tank, 1 Healer, 2 DPS for "light parties" in dungeons, and 2 Tanks, 2 Healers and 4 DPS for Trials and Raids. The interesting thing with FFXIV is you can play every single class on a single character, so there's no real need to create separate characters.

In addition to this if I may, there is a FREE TRIAL that you can play (either through Steam or the Official Square Enix FFXIV Launcher) where you can play completely free to level 35 on all available jobs (excluding expansion locked jobs) and crafting and gathering professions.

As Nick said, all of this can be done with one character. It's not like WoW where you need multiple.

Try the free trial, play to level 35 if you wish, experience the different classes. You have Tank, Healer, Melee DPS, Ranged DPS, Caster DPS.

Of course I would love to see this. I've played since 2.0 on Midgard/Sargatanas. This would be quite easy to do with the cross world party finder though it would be nice to see an eGO Free Company. We could easily organize 8 man content (old and new) if there is enough interest.
