EGO Scoreboard Suggestions

Hello,

I would like to suggest the following two items to be considered for the "EGO Scoreboard" on the right-hand side of the screen.

(1) The world that you are currently in. I've seen it in chat before where players don't know what world they are in; whether they are trying to build a home and are in mineworld or they are trying to mine and are accidentally destroying our lovely overworld. This (hopefully simple feature to add) would highly clear up any confusion a player might be having. It's a great reminder for everyone just so that they are certain that they know where they are at.

(2) McMMO Boost Weekend. Whenever we host a McMMO boost weekend, I feel it would be wise to have it displayed on the side scoreboard. Just a general reminder for people who may not know that this is occurring. It can be something as simple as "XP Boost: <Skill Name>"

Thank you,
Daa

Daa Daa ,

Are you speaking on adding them to the 'scrolling' part of the scoreboard? If so, do you think that will crowd them too much since they only switch every 4/5 seconds.

I was thinking about making them their own section on the scoreboard. Just something like:

World:
<world here>

This would be a permanent section that doesn't scroll. Between McMMO Total and the equal signs.

For McMMO XP Boost, maybe have it with scrolling McMMO totals? Not too sure. I don't know how many lines a scoreboard can have.

Daa Daa ,

Unfortunately, since Scoreboard sizes are limited, adding lines is simply not possible. We could put world in the footer, though. I'm thinking putting mcMMO boosts in the big scrolling section could work.

Will look into it,

What if Lottery was changed to remove the "Your Tickets" Saving a line and the world line could be put in

An alternative to the world problem would be giving permission to use the /whereami command. It's quite useful for coords, world information, etc, and has no real downside to usage.

I also think long term having a preferences menu with multiple types of menus (admin, world, player information, general, etc) would be an interesting feature

That’s a pretty cool idea. +1

Daa Daa ,

This will be reworked in the 1.16 release. Going to go ahead and close up this thread.
