Bad Company 2 Weird overlay on capture

Anyone ever see this before?

I was capturing a whole game but when I went to look at it there was an overlay...almost like when you spawn into a game as a ghost. You can hear and talk to everyone, and they can hear you and talk back, but you have blank weapons, a field overview, and you can't join the battle.

The difference here is that the overlay seems to have no relation to the game play at all. At first I thought it was the other team's view somehow, but the flags captured didn't match up, and the helo movements didn't match either.

Anyway, hope it's a glitch and I didn't break something. lol

This is also an example of a recon that's panicking because he forgot to change to a weapon before he went all jeep Rambo. LOL.

wow -- no, I haven't seen that before. It looks like the view you get while you're dead -- or at the end of the game. It even seemed to update in real time!

That's what I thought, but when you look at the whole thing what you see in the overlay doesn't match what's going on at all. Flags don't match, etc.

I updated the drivers just before that, so it might actually be a driver issue.

I thought it was interesting enough to share, anyway. heh.
