I don't know if this has been said here but, Why isn't a mass free kill a permanent ban, if its obviously intention then it should just be permanent, no point in them coming back in 2 weeks and killing everyone again. if it's permanent they could appeal and if they truly want to play on EGO servers then they can but no point in giving someone who joined a server just to spray down stack 2nd chances without them having to appeal.

MFK is not always intentional, just like normal free kills. But I do agree that an intentional MFK should be a permanent ban.

Permanent ban (1st offense) is too much, extending it to a month or 3 weeks (contestable after a week) is fine. The player wastes about 3-4 minutes of our time while he has to wait another month to do it again if he wanted to. Even then the player would forget about the server in a month and he wouldn’t comeback. If he does do it again then a permanent ban (contestable after 2 weeks) is good

I like this. I'd be in camp of a 1 month ban to start off with, but I'd make it non-contestable.

Also, I feel like I might be misremembering, but didn't there used to be a way to have perma CT bans? That could also be a possibility to prevent MFK repeaters, while still giving them an opportunity to play as T.

You know, maybe instead of banning them from all eGO servers outright for a mass server disruption, maybe extend CT bans?

Make them contestable on the forums like a ban if they want to start acting right. They can still play on the server or other servers (so long as they aren't breaking Code of Conduct or ban evading) but they would never be a CT.

I don't know what happened, but I remember that there used to be longer ctbans so they really cant disrupt with the same power as before. that could always make a come back, thought I do see the problems that could arise from them retaliating as a t.

Ahem. I have experience in this

Make a differentiation between Mass Freekill and Spraying Stack.

I would say this, Mass Freekill is 3+ freekills in a round and this stems from being new or being careless. In my case I didn't hear warden where he told Ts to get to the marker if they want ST, I only heard the first part and once I realized the mistake I made I stopped, this also goes for new players when they join CT and haven't read the rules, and they start killing Ts without it being justified. For these cases I would say a 2 week CT ban should be enough because it should be seen as a learning moment not a punishment. If you were to make this a permanent ban they would either leave to another network or will come back on an alt because CSGO is free.

When someone comes on to spray stack this is with malicious intent and I would go with what people above have said go for a 1-3 month ban and have it contestable after a third of the sentence was paid. If they are being genuine in wanting to come back they'll either wait it out or contest it. If they want to cause chaos they'll probably go for an alt and spray stack again, and will be perma'd for ban evasion.

I'm not a big fan of an instant perma ban especially if it was a mistake.

That's a very well thought out and good compromise on the situation I think. I've also seen instances like you described where there was a miscommunication and 3+ players were killed by misunderstood commands and/or carelessness. We definitely need to separate this situation from the private profile brand new account that connects, queues CT and picks up a negev and sprays stack.

Obviously you're going to have a few situations that are on the line, but I think those could be handled fairly easily on a case by case basis with clips and/or admin observance of that situation.

Yeah, back in the PG days we had just CT bans not full bans it would be a CT ban for 20800 minutes. maybe if we implement that but longer maybe like 2-3 months but repeal-able at like 3 weeks? and have them explain why they would want to play ct again?

Yeah, I agree with you matrix on what you said about Stack spray and unintentional MFK.
