So ive been using my old Plantronics 777 headset for years & its definitely showing its age in terms of audio quality. Theres a round dial built into the headset to adjust how loud the audio is & unfortunately I always have it set at max just to hear the sound good enough. Even then, sometimes the sound doesnt fully come thru on my right side & I have to play with the dial to make sure it comes through properly. Ive been doing this for easily 2 years now & im ready to upgrade.
The last headset I had my eyes on was the Hyper X Cloud, but I know theres new ones on the market, so id like feedback on what to keep my eyes out for. Hopefully something around the ballpark of $50 will be solid. It would be great if it was still 3.5 mm jack (yes im still that old school), but if its usb I guess ill have to go with it. I know that some headsets still do the combo (which is what mine is & I never used the usb part). So looking forward to the feedback I get on this topic.
