For the PC, i can confirm that ibuypower and cyberpower use off brand / lesser known power supplies. I've also learned that the parts are generally what they advertise but one build could have asrock parts another can have asus parts. My brother recently bought his first pc and we tried to build it ourselves under $700 with everything he wanted and lol we kinda failed, then we saw the best buy sales. That's the only reason I'd advise going there, if you're on a Budget. He's planning on upgrading the PSU and graphics card down the line when the RTX cards aren't selling out every 2 minutes.
As for windows keys and giving out credit card info, I've personally used sites like Kinguin and cdkeys. My general rule is make sure they have a money back guarantee and try to use PayPal cause then paypal can step in for you if something nefarious were to happen, also they don't give out your credit card info. So far (knocks on wood) I've been using those sites since 2013 and been fine. eGO actually got me into those markets since we had something with G2A back then (i don't use them anymore, they have fees) there's one I've been using lately called Eneba. I got a deal on xbox live there a month ago. definitely recommend using PayPal when possible. I can vouch for Cdkeys, Kinguin and Eneba. I don't recommend G2A just because of the fees, there's some membership thing they try to sell you, so I don't use it anymore
