Forum Ribbon Awards

[Grumpy Kitten]

I made a CL about this but I would also like to gather public thoughts on this. We all enjoy helping out the community, and by doing so we get awards. On forums we have 6 ribbon awards anyone can see without clicking any other buttons. It is always nice to showcase your achievements and what you are most proud of, but we can't choose these awards that show up. I propose the option to choose the 6 ribbon awards of your choice to be showcased on your post. There are more than a few awards I would like to show, but cannot. Let me know what you guys think

Would be cool to be able to customize which awards shows underneath your name, +1

[heidi]

i really like this idea! i would really like to customize what would be under my name +1

I remember looking into this before because it actually has been suggested a few times! I think the biggest issue is that the Award system was migrated from an older plugin and was a bit hacked together as is. Overall we could probably do a good cleaning of the entire awards system and maybe migrate to something more modern.

Totally down with the idea btw. I always had my donator ribbon stuck above my way prouder stuff for ages!

Maybe with the Website 2.0 Soon™

I like it.

I want my medal of shame to go straight to the top!

I proposed this years ago for Prestige Gaming, and I maintain the sentiment that this would be a nice feature.
However, it is also not a priority, thus will likely be some time before it is recognized and implemented. Great suggestion!

[pretty boy]

+1 Sounds like a good idea, hope to see

[Dafoe]

Are we getting a new website?

[Mayhem Death]

Great idea, but as some have said this is not a priority as of the moment. I will let the CM team know about this and we will see if this can be done.

Cheers!
