dont buy a 9600

ok whatever u do dont buy a 9600 at least from bfg so i just put my card back in and unistalled my drivers using a driver cleaner in safe mode then reinstalled the new drivers for this card and still does the same thing freaking thing i cant play anything that deals with a hl2.exe for more then 5 min cause all it does is crashes.

9600 GT requires a good PSU not a 400 wat... Nvidia is the choice not xfx or whatever.
You will only notice a boost if you have a cromy card like the 8600 GT, big boost for me.

Its a low budget card still gives out a good porformence boost.

It will do

I recommand at least 600, or 700 if your running a few HDs and high quality sound card and a few more extreas like TV Tuner card ext ext.

People will say a 400 will do, but its all misconception. 400 WILL power it but in lazy mode and will slow you down a tad.

yeah 9600gt, i love it gets great frames i even can do 16x CSAA on tf2, css and dods i didnt even know this option was available on my 7900gt

haha yeah, and if you plan on oc'ing, i would go with eVGA (i think thats how it goes lol) just because i think they warrenty your cards, even if you oc them... i think... lol

I bought a XFX 9600gt XXX edition. runs Crysis maxed, natural mod and HP's Ultra high config. no probs on the card install/drivers
