Very curious on how this would work, if it does then all power to it, I would support it!
 
Uhhh, not really sure how this would work as there's not really any community servers as well as there being a very limited way to get people to join us. If someone could explain how it would work I'd be happy to see it happen.
 
I honestly dont really see how this would work if it were to be supported. Its a fun game to play with friends but i dont think its something that would be worth putting effort into supporting.
 
I'd like to see some actual details in how this would work. How would this function within eGO?

Seems like a great one for some event nights, not so much a full time supported game.
 
While I’m 100% on board with pitching new games, I think we need more info than this - for all these similar community polls. Sell it to me right here - how would this work with eGO? Why do I want to buy this game and support eGO perusing it? Is there a good way to attract and bring in members?

I want us to expand. But these polls don’t tell me or anyone else enough to say “yep, I’m going to buy that and play it with eGO!”.
 
I am actually trying my best to understand how this would work as it will be really interesting but still we just need more details to actually know how it works.
 
We need the option to select "What is Dead by Daylight?".
 
I don't play it, but I know it is super popular. I wouldn't be surprised to see us officially support it.

Although the game is extremely fun and there are play with friends, there are no custom servers. It will run into a problem similar to seige where you can only use the community to queue online matches, plus "play with your friends" gamemode requires 4-5 Players to actually play... You cant really administer behavior of random people online :/


It would be good for maybe for events, or maybe dedicated lfg activites... Unfortuneatly as I enjoy the game It cant go much further than that. But if a plan comes forward im still down to support it the game is super fun :D!

These polls are a requirement for the NGS Request Guide Arbiter made. As a way these polls are structured, the person who is making the poll can't exactly convince someone in the description. The poll title would either be too long to post or the description would detract from Havok's personal thoughts.

In theory, you could make a poll in the General Gaming forum section, but you would not get the same community outreach these polls have, considering that they are on the side of the forums themselves.
 
Majority of responses I've read have been either questioning how it'd work or wanting someone to elaborate on how it'd work to which my own opinion would be that I don't really see any way it would work in any sense. Like sheiro stated there are no custom servers so you'd either have to have a full queue of friends/community members to place a match unless you wanted to play with random people (which can be annoying at times in this game imo). Also as he stated there really wouldn't be any way to "control" someone who's misbehaving and if I were an outsider of the community I wouldn't really want to listen to someone trying to tell me how to act (especially if it's just on a random chance that we started playing together), unless of course I was on an actual server of the community I was playing with.

I am fully aware of why the polls exist and how we pitch new games within eGO. I spent a lot of time going over it with members... i think you've missed the point of my post. My point is that these polls are nice, but we need more thought into pitching things to the community.
 
As someone who loves dead by daylight, I don't think it would work in practice as a fully supported game. There's nothing for EGO to back or support like it's own server, and like other people have said, it's a fantastic event game.

I think in terms of our other games like CSGO or GTA, it fails, but could be an opportunity for EGO to maybe create a smaller division of games with no community server support. (Overwatch, DBD, Valorant, etc).

I'd love to see Leadership implement some sort of support for these smaller scale games as by recent polls, there is at least some interest in them.
