Counter-Strike: Global Offensive =(e)= tag

So I've applied for the =(e)= tag a while ago and I was able to get it. However, I just have a question regarding it. Do I manually have to insert the =(e)= tag in front of my steam name, or does it automatically appear whenever I join an eGO server. I see other people online with a =(e)= or =(eG)= tag in front of their names only on an eGO server, but it doesn't appear when checking out their steam profiles. Help please. :0

K Kydex Your tag should appear in front of your name assuming you have your steam linked through MAUL. You don't need to manually insert the tag as long as you've done this. Does this answer your question?

I think a lot of times the =(e)= tag stops appearing if the user has not logged into forums in a while. Just make sure you do a login to forums at least once a week.

For some games like GTA they will want you to have the e tag in your steam name to get whitelisted jobs though

It is due to our nametags not syncing on map/above head with MAUL. It helps us keep track of who is who on the map as well if set to police..ems...mechanic.
