I was wondering on what people of the forums use?

Discord or Teamspeak?

Respond below I would love to hear any comments or concerns you have!

They serve 2 different functions really. I prefer Teamspeak for voice chat. Discord is nice for text.

Both, D2 mainly uses discord but I still hop in teamspeak to talk to people.

Discord for messaging and voice with WoWS. Teamspeak for meetings and everything else.

I mainly use Discord for voice and chat. I only use TS for eGO events or if I need to talk to someone from eGO.

Find myself using ts more often. Discord mainly is nice for when ts goes down for various reasons.

I hate Discord , it's so cluttered .

Love TS , clean interface , no clutter , easy to use , can talk or type .

I would say the opposite, I guess it's whatever you've used more. Discord seems to be a little too ambitious with features, with more times than not they find themselves testing in production and it goes down a lot. Teamspeak on the other hand can't decide if they want to be stuck in 2005 or copy discord. I only use ts for ego at this point

Discord is fine with like 10 people. For a community of this size, it's hot garbage. Trying to scroll down to one of the channels during the clan wide took like 40 seconds.

another boomer statement

Ever since I've started using teamspeak I've always thought it was the superior platform of the two for voice and also for private conversations you want to have with 3-4 people, instead of making a group chat you have a chat where only the people in the room can see it. So for both voice and text I prefer teamspeak unless I really need to reach out to somebody then I may use discord.

Honestly can use either with ease but gotta say ts for voice especially with the more advanced customization that can be done with it for each individual server group and whatnot plus complete private channel options but discord for times that ts is down such as it is at the time of me writing this response.

Wouldn't an event of the same size in ts take the same amount of time to scroll through? I fail to see the difference in the two in that aspect.

discord is nice for text chat, it's very clean to me, but i do prefer TS for talking to people on voice

Teamspeak because it succeeded to ventrilo.

I prefer the display of teamspeak anyways

teamspeak has the better voice chat and large groups for voice. discord is best for messages and getting announcements out

Teamspeak for the listed reasons. Also, in my case (and maybe others) Teamspeak eats up less back ground power as compared to the flashy displays and whatnot on Discord.
