In-Character Body-cam Usage​

Hey everyone,

After further discussion with the Leadership Team, we have decided to implement a new rule regarding body-cam footage.

1. For body-cam footage to be used in character situations such as police reports, court cases, and other situations, while recording the individual must show the GoPro item in their F2 inventory. The showing of this can be brief but it must be in the footage that you are submitting.

This does not count for any footage recorded before June 7th, 2020. From this day forward, this rule is to be followed when using the footage for in-character information.


If this is not done, this footage is presumed to be out-of-character and cannot be used for in-character advantage. Please keep this in mind while recording for in-character usage!

Make it so you have to be in first person to record, its a body cam, so nothing behind your character can be seen / only what the character sees should be able to be used.

I think that for police it should be a different case since they actually have physical body cams on our peds, but thats just my opinion
