Tech Help Best 144 hz monitor and monitor stand?

I was looking to get a 144 hz monitor. What's the best monitor under $300? I also need a dual monitor arm. That can be around $100.

Also I was using my brothers monitor to see how to connect two monitors to two PC's and I couldn't figure out. On my motherboard there's a HDMI but it says it's inactive whenever I put the monitor in. My main monitor uses the GPU HDMI. For a second monitor would I need to get another GPU?

carter227 you'd have to use whatever else your gpu offers along with the HDMI slot such as on mine I use the HDMI along with the display port slot to have 2 monitors hooked up. As for the monitor and and dual monitor arm I'll leave that up to someone else, though I will say can look on Amazon (like I just did) and see quite a bit of 144hz monitors (with brands as Asus, Samsung, and BenQ to name a few) on there for well under $300, it'll just all depend on screen size you want/prefer and curved or not curved.

for monitors go something with a name and a few reviews don't pick up random brands from China I promise not every panel is made the same.

Also if you feel risky you can always get a broken samsung or LG panel and replace it and get it for cheap

Monitor prices are a little inflated, because of corona-virus. basically just check color accuracy, and panel technology and see if it has g-sync (Nvida GPUs) or freesync {AMD GPUs) basically that prevents screen tearing g sync is a little more expensive though because it takes a onboard cpu.

I have a Nvidia Graphics card and I really don’t care too much about the color. I just want it for gaming. I would want the speed to be at least 2 milliseconds or less.

It's on sale for $60 off, making it $240. It's 144hz and 1ms response time. It's also 27in. The panel is TN, which isn't the best, but if you care about gaming it wont really make a difference. Additionally, it's G-Sync compatible. That means that even though you do not have an AMD graphics card, it will take advantage of Free Sync

Nvidia unlocked RTX (maybe 1000 series as well) cards to use Freesync so as long as it has displayport 1.4 which most do you'll be fine

I know you already bought it but that's the $10 above the standard price, Amazon Prime Sale is gonna happen in a few weeks and last year there was a 1440p 144 hz at $200 with a Samsung panel
