You look at the calendar on your screen, check the time, it's Monday and summer is finally here. The quarantine blues are fading away and an eGO summer is here to brighten your day. As a community, we plan on continuing the growth of our community to bring more people fun in the digital sun. Here is some news recapping the month of May to get you excited for what's to come!
Battlefield
No current news from the Battlefield team.
Counter Stike
Counter-Strike servers have been getting a lot of updates, whether it be new and exciting items in the traitor shop or general quality of life issues on the surf server. Be sure to click here for the most recent additions to our servers.
Destiny 2
Destiny leadership is currently looking for more ECs! Contact Power_Outlet, Shalom, or Hedgehog if you are interested. Be sure to pick up Destiny 2 on steam for FREE.
Garry’s Mod
This last month in Garry's Mod has been mostly setting up the server and making some small changes, but be sure to look out for news from them soon (TTT news, that is)
GTAV
Our FiveM server has received many updates in the past month and they can be seen here. These changes include updates for better performance, improving the quality of life. From an in-game standpoint, there have been many SSS events held including drifting car shows, drag races, and rally races.
Media Team
In the month of May, Media has promoted webby to the Writing & News Manager! We also are still looking for new candidates to help us run our socials, create art, edit videos, write articles, etc. If you'd like to apply, please click here!
Member Services
Member services have recently recruited a few ECs looking to make a difference. Be prepared for more fun and exciting MS events in the coming months!
Minecraft
In May, Minecraft ECs have taken up a lot of projects, that you should see very, very soon!
Rust
No current news from the Rust team.
Team Fortress 2
In the TF2 game group, PastryFoxy has been promoted to Manager. He will be in charge of recruitment and helping with events. As far as tech updates go: a new third-person plugin that should be less buggy than the previous one, players can now vote to turn off all talk with the !VoteAllTalk command, the AFK manager has been adjusted to let you idle on the server without being kicked to help with fills, but it does kick in as the server gets almost full, dedicated supporters can now become an MvM robot with the !betherobot command, players can also vote to turn on Roll The Dice with the command !votertd, once 8 people are on the server. TF2 also has many upcoming changes including, radio options, consolidation of stats under one system, new game modes, and more!
World of Warships
EGO2 Has been created in World of Warships, and they are actively recruiting over there. It will be easier to join than the main clan. They have plenty of their EGO members heading over there to teach and help grind out ships with new players. The game group also received some promotions in Houndini and Hellroach, so be sure to congratulate them. Lastly, they are expecting Clan Battles to start up in a month or two, so stay on the lookout for the news!
