Bought mine initially 5 years ago for $2,200. I've since replaced a few parts that I skimped out on/that have died on me, new monitor, GPU died, PSU, HDD/SDD's, so in total probably closer to $4,000.

Cool thing is since I've replaced so much, when I upgrade I only have to swap out the motherboard, cpu, and ram, and I'll be top of the line again for another 5-6 years.
 
Bought mine from a very very bad friend who ripped me off (story for another day) for $500

Cost me approximately $1500 to build , that lasted for approximately 1 month , upgraded the CPU to an i7-870 for approx. $450 , then the video card for another $400 + , then again a few months later upgraded the Video Card to a used GTX1070 for another $400 . Was pricing building another PC yesterday and it would cost me approx. $1800 .
 
1800-2100 probably, would be quite a bit less now though, and norway is expensive.


Whole setup probably 3500 or so at most

8-900$ for monitors (240hz n 144hz)
300$min for kbm
~100$ headset
~150$ mic cus headset mic broke
 
just the pc - probably 1.4k or 1.5k
