Thinking about trying FiveM

Hopefully this is the right place to post this...

I'm thinking about trying the FiveM server. Who wants to help me out on getting started? I've already read all the rules, the stickies, etc.

I'm more referring to the actual physical gameplay element of FiveM. I haven't roleplayed in a bit but I used to play on some enforced RP servers in other games for years.

When I was a teenager, I played on a private shard for Ultima Online called "Genesis Roleplay" and it was some of the greatest fun I had. The idea of RPing in a modern setting, instead of sword, shields, bows and magic seems really fun and exciting to me.

So... who wants to be my little mentor?
