What game was deceivingly good?

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. looked lame as hell at a first glimpse.... then I dumped hundreds of hours into it... Then played modded versions of it and dumped another couple hundreds into it again...

X4 Foundations. After the debacle that is X3: Rebirth, they went back to what made the series good and they're still patching it and allowing mods such as improving the AI, or allowing different skins (Anyone want to command Star Destroyers?)

i remember seeing the original hl1 remake in black mesa starting years ago, thinking itd be horrible and never see the light of day. boy was i glad to be wrong there. over a decade of love distilled into a quality remake was remarkable to see.

Also Slay the Spire. i love deck-building games. didnt think itd have the legs to work, but boy was that a fresh of breath air. now you got so many others trying to recreate it.

prob valorant. I really didn't think i was gonna like it. But it turned out to be really fun
this, valorant was godly in beta, I got 3 accounts for it, but when they fully released it I feel like the game died for me. Might try to get into it soon. Idk man.
