So, im looking into buy a new computer pre-build because my laptop is on the verge of jumping from the 5th story. Im looking to do a good mid tier computer ranging around $2500 (2080 8 GB gfx card proffered), can anyone send me some builds from reputable websites that they recommend? you guys are much more experienced gamers than me and i would love your help

This build comes out to like $2,300 if you'd like change the r7 out for a 3950x but I don't think that is necessary.

ExoArcher would you be open to trying to build your own machine? It's very easy. There's a ton of YouTube videos and everything is sort of "it only fits in one way". VERY hard to mess up these days and takes little time. Helps with upgrading down the road, easy to warranty one part at your local store, etc.

You'd certainly get the most out of your money that way.

If you truly aren't comfortable with it I'm sure we can find something.

Simon Buster I have called around to a few friends who can help me build the computer, it will be cheaper that way. i currently have an H100I pro aio, and a Thermaltake T71 case (full atx i believe) that should house everything with room to spare. so im gonna probably do that. and if worst come to worst with help, legend is in my general area, ill beg and plead and offer a cash reward.

Looks good all around, but maybe upgrade the motherboard to b550 or x570 with wifi onboard so you dont have to buy a seperate adapter.

Not the finest logic - spend more now and it’ll last years. I had the same machine from 2012-2019 and played tons of new games without issue, with only a GPU upgrade in 2014 or so. Spend more now and upgrade less later.
