Hey, guys. Since I didn't see an official post about this, I'm going to make my own.
The winners for the 2020 JB Mapping contest were recently announced.
Without further ado,
5th Place

By Daan
Daan brings home 60 dollars here with his map autumn. A futuristic map, set in "Autumn Industry", the map offered a large number of minigames but was criticized for being too open and bland.
A note from the judges:
4th Place

By Dede
Dede brings home 85 dollars with glow. A sky themed map, glow offered a smaller line up of well developed and original games. Although Dede admitted that the map was rushed and not fully completed, my main critics for the map was its small feel and limited chances for rebellion.
A note from the judges:
3rd Place
jb_overcooked
By Taurus
Taurus brings home 110 big ones with this map. A kitchen and food theme map, Overcooked offers a food-themed twist on many familiar games, while offering some original ones. From our server, the main critics for the map are the lack of secrets and tight/bland hallways.
The note from the judges:
2nd Place

By hesoyam
Hesoyam brings back 225 dollars with this map right here. Despite the fact it could not find its way onto our server, the map is extremely innovative. The majority of the games are innovative and well done. The main problems of the map include a dull and blank theme, along with being CT Sided.
A note from the judges:
And.... In 1st place.....

By Raphi
Raphi will be walking away with 400 dollars thanks to this map. The map offers a complex vent system, original games, and innovative secrets. The main critics of the map were a too cramped cell block, and a little too many hiding spaces. Overall, this map has also been the most successful on our server.
The note from the judges:
GG's to the winners, and hopefully near year we can get some submissions from eGO.

A note from the judges:
The judges largely enjoyed this map with it providing a reasonable mix of minigames to play. However several noted that this could be a confusing map to play at first due to it's larger layout and with some of the minigames being hard to work out. They did praise the vent system for providing an interesting way for the T's to navigate the map. Overall a good map but perhaps lacking some polish compared to other entries.

A note from the judges:
The design of this map stood out to the judges, with it providing a interesting environment to play in. The feedback on the minigames was mixed, with praise for some of them providing a unique experience but other seeming fairly basic. There was also some concern from some of the judges that the map would be CT sided due to it's smaller size and limited chances to rebel. Despite that, this is still a solid entry and gains 4th place.

The note from the judges:
The judges praised this map for it's well made minigames. While some of them have been seen before on other maps, multiple judges pointed out that this map implemented them well with plenty of options to modify them. However the judges felt the design of this map was it's weak point, with somewhat empty hallways presently a bland feel and also resulting in not much cover for rebels. An often overlooked part of maps, the optimisation, was well implemented in this map and appreciated by the judges. A strong entry and deserving of its spot in the top 3.

A note from the judges:
The minigames in this map were greatly enjoyed by the judges with them providing interesting and unique experiences. The games were innovative and fun to play and well implemented. Some of the judges did feel however that the design let this map down a bit, with them stating it felt bland in places. Also most judges agreed that due to the design of the map, it had a CT bias. Despite that, the extremely well done minigames secured this map into second place.

The note from the judges:
This map easily stood out as the most well rounded entry. The minigames felt fresh and unique to play in and provided a fun experience for the players. The design, while perhaps not the most flashy ever, was well thought out and well implemented into the whole map. The judges felt the map was mostly balanced with the only downside being it's size possibly making it harder to find rebels. This map could easily be dropped into server rotations and secure being a player favourite. Well deserved first place!
GG's to the winners, and hopefully near year we can get some submissions from eGO.
