Today was... not good

From 12PM CST- 1:30 PM CST, countless people micspammed, server disrupted, cheated lr, freekilled, and did other offenses (some of these listed below). I realize that most of the admin community has jobs and potentially school that they must tend to, but seriously, nobody? I was making cross-server source chat reports, and nobody showed up to the Jailbreak server. The reason I'm not making a CL is because I did find one admin, Bergendy, who was on the beginner surf server. I asked him if he could hop on over to the Jailbreak server because people were breaking the rules, and he said that he was only trained to moderate the Surf server. Come on administration, how are you going to have 50+ admins in your CS:GO division and have not 1 single trained admin online JB at a single time. You guys are the owners of the biggest Jailbreak server on all of Counter Strike: Global Offensive, and don't have admins available.

Thanks for getting me banned for no reason acidity, 3 days for telling gullible to shut up, great admins!

Acidity I was banned for server disruption, which is a false ban because I did not disrupt the server second child predator, come on dude.

Contest your ban here. Acidity is not an admin and therefore has nothing to do with your ban. Your problem is now between you and leadership.

Because it's the middle of the day in the middle of the week, with a majority of our admins and players being in the USA, so they'd be at school or work. Yes, seriously, it is entirely possible that no one was around. Our admins are volunteers are doing this on their free time - they have no obligation to do anything at a snap of your fingers.

You could also have tried going to our Discord or Teamspeak to ask for help. At the end, you can do ban requests for problematic players so at the very least, they don't return.

you think it's my fault that you were falsely banned? ok surr

I think everyone needs to just chill out a little bit on this thread. acidity probably could have dealt with the situation in a better way, sure. But he at least took time out of his day to write a fairly lengthy post about a concern that he felt needed to be addressed, which I frankly appreciate for a member I usually don't see active on the forums. I don't know who this Gavin guy is but he's acting like a preschooler.

Now, sabo sabo and Simon Simon both make good points here. On one hand, admining isn't a Job that people have an obligation to, and people should know this. And yes, it was the middle of a workday in which most people would be busy, so it's understandable. But acidity is right in some places. We have the biggest jailbreak server in CS:GO, and some people who are trying to enjoy their time on it are having it ruined by nimrods who come on the server to take away other people's fun. This is an issue, and you know maybe it should be clearer that you can reach some of our admins on Teamspeak really easily. I played on our servers for an entire year (with an e tag) until I found out about our TeamSpeak server, so maybe we should start working on letting active players (not just people active on the forums and such) that they have lots of alternative means to reach admins when a rule breaker comes on the server.

Now for the specialty server training. Not every CS:GO admin (Those that are in the Division) are trained for the TTT and JB servers due to their specific rulesets, and they don't have to be (at least from what I've heard). Now I don't feel like its my place to comment on this since I'm not and never have been an admin, but maybe those extra trainings should be encouraged a little bit more for new admins, even if they don't play the server often. JB is our most popular server on CS by a mile, and it pays to have more people to reach that can help out in those unpopular times (like a standard workday). Both sides should be appreciated and heard in this issue, and I hope that at least some people share this mindset with me.

BTW, sabo sabo I don't recommend you don't discuss any admin issues on a general forum post like this. Just let whatever rule offender tries to bother you just make a CL and go on with your day.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

This has has all gotten so much attention yet my ban remains and no response on the appeal, yet 11 views. Kinda sad
there are 8 CS managers. Only they can reply to your contests. Those 11 views are probably from admins. There are limited managers and only they can respond. They arent available 24/7 you need to be patient and wait for your contest to be responded to. It may take a few days but people have lives. Whats kind of sad is you thinking managers and admins run on your time schedule and that you expect to get everything as soon as you demand/want it.

Hey! Just wanted to clear this up. I'm GMod staff and just pop in the surf server to play when I'm not on ZS. Never played CSGO JB or TTT before.

I may not be the best person to comment on this, as anyone who has seen me on JB knows I complain...a lot. But that will tie into my point.

At the end of the day, we all are getting on JB to have fun (at least I hope), including admins. Recently, I cant imagine any admin can have much fun on JB, as its seems like every round there is at least 1 person that free kills, gun plants, etc, and I am sure there are at least 3-4 more people that report something to admin chat each round. So, with that said, if admins are bombarded with reports and whatnot while they are on, why would they want to get on?

There is always going to be people that break the rules, there is nothing that can be done to completely stop it. What we can do as regular players is relax and realize that it is just a game. If you are getting free killed and people are breaking rules, go play something else and come back later. We can also do our part to keep JB fun for everyone by not being a "toxic" CT.

To tie back to my first little paragraph, I know that recently I too just need to relax while playing JB, and that is something I am working on :)

This part right here. One thing I would like to see is action taken against people that only get on the server to ruin the fun for others. There are a few that come to mind but I wont name any names here :)
