Resolved FIVEM: Mechanic Circle at SSS causing cars to be unable to move

Since the new merge of SSS and SART, there were some changes to how the upgrade circle worked at SSS. Since the change, I’ve been working at SSS, occasionally upgrading cars where the upgrade circle used to be, which is still accessible to everyone if less than a certain amount of SSS mechanics are on duty. That being said, when it is accessible and I attempt to upgrade vehicles for customers, sometimes the cars will get stuck in place with their engine running. They rev, sometimes do donuts in place, but they can’t actually go forward or back. Even toggling the speed doesn’t seem to work. The only fix I’ve found is to poof or impound the vehicle, which is annoying for me, but more importantly, annoying for our customers.

What I’ve noticed is that it happens when other things pop up on your screen (ex: getting dispatch pings or hitting your f3 muscle to turn the engine on and off).

If it happens again, press f8 to check for errors, screen it if there is any.

This happens when the menu is closed without it being registered as closed, generally when another menu is opened to replace it. You need someone else to get into the car and press e to open the upgrade menu, then close the menu regularly with backspace. Avoid opening up other menus while you're in the upgrade menu, or it will lock the car in place until someone else opens the menu and closes it (as you can't, because your game thinks its still open).
