Listen, Am trying To make SERIOUS posts.

Yet my thread asking for ideas for forums posts gets removed for "shit posting"

am literaly tryin my best to be good.

I want to contribute to the community, yet I get hit with a "shit post"


all I wanted was a nice thread with ideas.

Am not trying to shit post.

I know admins are doing there job but comeone, Is asking for ideas a shit post?

If it is give me a list of stuff that are and aren't shit posts.

Cause I actually tried my best on that post.

And I wanted to start a conversation And was looking for ideas.

I don't know man, I just wanna start a nice long conversation with lads, But its whatever.

if you have an issue with this making a forum post about it for the whole community is not the place to complain about it. make a contact leadership if you think it was unjustfully removed or for an explanation. making a forum post complaining about it won’t do anything. especially since only managers+ can remove posts. not admins in general. be more thoughtful with what you post. I’ve seen you trying but asking people to specify for you what counts as a shit post isn’t the best move. if you need to ask about it it probably is. if you want more information on it , again, make a CL.

I mean, to be honest, this is kind of a bizarre thing to make a thread about - making a thread about making threads?

I'm all for forum activity, but this sorta seems like posting for the sake of posting, then more posting. Posting meaningless posts just to up your post count and look active ends up coming off as annoying to many or childish. If you have something that comes to mind you want to discuss, cool, make a thread. Quality meme to share that will make us laugh? Sure. Posting about what to post about? Nah.

Seriously - 10 years ago I was making like 50 posts a day here. Most of them were garbage and would be like "lol". Posting for the sake of posting. Finally a division leader (Senior Managers now) sat me down and said "Look dude, you're annoying the hell out of everyone and it looks bad, immature, etc". Kinda woke me up a bit to not be posting for the number to go up.

I did end up banned for a while too, and smartened up / matured a ton when I returned.

But I'd rather you didn't have to end up going through that kind of process - it's a crappy way to learn.

As others said, only Manager+ handle forum moderation - you'll want to make a Contact Leadership post asking why you had it deleted and maybe see if there's further issues.

I'm all for forum activity, but this sorta seems like posting for the sake of posting, then more posting. But I'll Limit my self to 1 post a day even if I want to post something else.

I am but usually people usually talk at weird hours,


like when am on the discord people aren't talking but when am off its usually busy, I'll start talking there more though

i completely agree. it seems like people keep posting just to post and honestly it’s quite obnoxious seeing the forums being spammed as it is just for the sake of people upping their post count and they’re really just meaningless posts. i was gonna say something about this but thank you for bringing it up
