What Class do you main and why?

As the title implies, what class do you main and give a reason as to why. (a good reason)

As for me I main Pyro and the reason I give is because I like how the class feels and I also like how effective I can be as Pyro, with the side benefit of being able to fight most classes 1v1. I also like to annoy people as Pyro but that's neither here nor there. ^w^

Medic because the team needs a good medic that can milk uber , throw good arrows and ubersaw kill ppl

I main all of the "S" classes (Scout, Solider, Sniper, Spy) mainly because they're all super fun to play! Out of all of them, I've played Spy the most, mainly because getting 6 backstabs in a row on Upward is an amazing feeling

Gotta love it when I get to outsmart opponents by knowing that they know that they found me out and by them finding me out I found that they found me out and I know hot to counter their reaction to them finding me out and then I can just "do a little dance" and get the stab...

I used to main Soldier (thanks to an old EGO member Ravemeister showing me the ropes) but somewhere along the lines I switched over to Spy. I've always enjoyed the feeling of outplaying/out-thinking the enemy and being able to move around without them knowing you're there. Overall its just a fun (and intense) class to play, and it definitely pays off when you get those sweet picks.

I’ve always kinda alternated between soldier and pyro. Occasionally I can do heavy.

after a decade I still can’t even attempt to play spy.

I dont really main anything, but i mostly play Demo, Soldier, and Medic. This is because i find them the most fun to play

Spy because I latched onto it in TFC, wired myself into an annoying playstyle, can't shake it for anything else.

I picked up my main all the way back from the Orange Box on tf2, back then there was a 'sudden death' mode when the server time ran out. During it health packs went away and the health restore from spawn was disabled, so what it came down to was who could chip who the fastest. However, with a medic on the team it became a lot easier to win the fights and subsequently, the round. When I transitioned over to the PC version of the game in 2014, med was still the best in my eyes. No other class has such a dominant presence in the map, the sheer panic ubercharges put people in always is delightful and having to always keep your guard up just gives me an rush.

No other game does this quite as well as tf2 does in my opinion, tf2 is an outlier in that it does pick favorites. The medic is completely unique in that he is the only primary healer in the game, games like OW and Paladins try to spread their support healing options out so that game doesn't feel stale, while at the same time taking away from the magic that is playing a healer in a FPS.

Think I started with pyro, then I moved on to scout for a bit, then engie, medic and back to pyro. I had 2 community members kinda show me around scout and engie

Not to say I can't multi-class when needed but I'm not great at them. Don't put me in as spy, I'm bad spy

I had that happen to me as well, switched from spy to sniper back to pyro.

Got to be spy for me. its based on movement, positioning, and how well you can act like other classes. and there is nothing more satisfying then backstabing a medic and heavy combo when they have uber. second best is the good ol engineer stab to sentry sap.
