Counter-Strike Delivered Monthly Leaderboards Wipes for Gangs

So, I don't remember who said it, but they said gangs should wipe monthly. If that were to happen it would be very cool. Here's my reasoning, it sounded similar to when Rust wipes. Nobody is ever on top for forever. It would give everyone the equal opportunity to be in first.
How would it work?
There would be 2 leaderboards, an All Time Leaderboard and then a Monthly Leaderboard. It is what it sounds like. One doesn't wipe, one does. For the monthly wipe you could see what gang is doing the best right now. And you could also have some fun with it, like contests. The team that get's first place wins, and the best person on that team that did the best would get a month of DS (or other prizes). This would encourage people to play more.

Monthly player CT kills is better than monthly gang kills, if it was monthly the gang with the most active players will obviously be at the top which makes it kind of a useless leaderboard

I think both could work. When you said "the gang with the most active players will obviously be at the top," it really didn't make total sense. Isn't that sort of what it is currently? But just instead it's about how long you've played.

I didn't play during gangs that much and it was only added like a year ago. I left because gangs were added. That's kinda why I wanted this idea. Everybody that created a gang when gangs were first added is basically first and will stay there for awhile.

Competitions with prizes would be cool.
The leaderboard would be more representative of the most active gangs rather than the gangs with the best Ts. If you wanted to find the most active gang you hit tab and see which gang is next to the most names. If you wanted to find the best ts you go here.

I like the idea of a leader board for gangs but I don't think it'll be a very good idea of the Jailbreak server considering what happened last time when all LE added was 2 bomb icons. Clowns & KZ if you don't know what I am talking about. And removing the whole gang plugin itself wouldn't be a good idea either. For example the KZ gang, they worked hard to be where they are at in the gang list and removing the gangs would removed not only their work as gang but all of them. But the idea of having monthly contest could be a good idea but I highly doubt it'l get approved tbh.

+1 This would help new gangs actually have a chance rather than gang just being who has played the most.

IMO I think there should be 2 leaderboards if anything. All these gangs that are top 10 have grinded for their spots examples are kz, clowns, goat, cachinga, ovo. All of these gangs are in top 6 im pretty sure and they all worked to get there but it also doesn't mean that new gangs can't get up there. ZZZ aka @xNibs gang is almost top 15 and it's like maybe 2 months old not even! A monthly leaderboard as well as an all time leaderboard would be great but if to implement monthly leaderboards the all time leaderboards needs to be gone, I choose all time leaderboards to stay.

I feel like i would love to see a Monthly Leaderboard but keep the All Time Leaderboard just as carter227 stated, doing this is letting the newer gangs have a chance to shine, in my opinion it wouldnt bother me as long as they keep the all time one as well. Good Idea!

+1 i feel like it'd like walking said allow smaller/newer gangs made to have a chance to get up to the top 5, and i feel like it would make the other gangs have to rework to get to where they are so other gangs have a chance to get to top 5

+1 It will be good for New players to have a fresh start to make a gang so it can climb up the leaderboards

What you don't realize is clowns goat kz and all the others in the top 6 worked for their top spot and just because new people are joining doesn't mean we should just reset all the work they put in. If there were 2 leaderboards like possibly a monthly one and then the all time one stays there. I think that would be a great idea.
