What was your first experience gaming online?

In my case, I joined a 24/7 2fort server on TF2 and repeatedly shot my own team, not knowing what I was supposed to do.

Then this cool guy taught me how to play, we played TF2 for a while then he unfriended me like after a week.

Nevertheless, it was through that server that I discovered Garry's Mod and found what eventually became my first gaming community.

my first time i was online i was 6 i think playing call of duty world at war and i asked my dad if i can play a game he said sure and thats all i remember

Pretty sure it was some kind of LEGO online game. Maybe bionicle? I recall an online version of that. It was like 2003.

I vaguely recall another LEGO mmo before that, but it was short lived I think. All web based stuff.
