Enough said.

Pretty sure it was some kind of LEGO online game. Maybe bionicle? I recall an online version of that. It was like 2003.

I vaguely recall another LEGO mmo before that, but it was short lived I think. All web based stuff.
Lego Universe.

I wanna say my first online game was probably black ops 1. I cant remember online games as much

AOL back in the 90s used to have this teen AOL shit that I used to troll it's games and it's "moderators". that was my first online gaming experience. I started making people upset online back in the days you used to pay per minute to be online.

pretty sure I got TOS'd like 4 times back when AOL owned the world.

first online community was Garry's Community, it still technically lives on here today. First time ever playing an online game was probably runescape, I sucked and never really did any of the cool missions because I was a dumb kid who didnt know how to do most crap, I mostly just spent time at the grand exchange and wandering around. Part of me wants to go back to it now that I am not a dumb kid and I know I could actually get crap done

It was back in 2012 (When I was 7) I was introduced to the Xbox and was so excited, after around 3 months I was introduced to a game called terraria, one of my friends loved terraria and they had a group of online friends you played it aswell, we eventually made a multiplayer game and had lots of fun!

I still play Terraria to this day.

My friend eventually showed me this humongous community of Terraria players, ever since the group died down and my friend grew old of terraria, so thats that.

I played xTank on the Unix servers at Auburn University back in the very early 1990's.

Usually we'd play lanned at a Computer Lab but we'd also dial in to the Server from home.

Only reference i can find here. Scroll all the way down.

First time playing against someone not in the same house as me? That would've been Warcraft on MS-DOS and dialup... and then probably followed by Warcraft 2 and Dark Portal.

First time playing with LOTS of people online? Some kind of threeway tie between TFC, Diablo, and EverQuest

Halo 3 introduced me to the online world thanks to my dad. Call of duty is what made me really into multiplayer, which my dad introduced to me as well.

This and Starcraft were some good times especially with 56k modems.

oh shit, I completely forgot about Starcraft. With the original battlenet and ranked ladder with the little stars you had to fill in before you could play on the ladder. I was so awful at that game but damn if I didn't try
