The Purge [09/19] | September 10th, 2020
The city has been too quiet for a while, and the government has decided that it needs to "liven" up. A cleaning is due, and the government has decided a purge is a perfect way to go about it. This means that all crime & killing will be legal for this event! Call your friends, group up, and stock up on guns and ammunition - s#!t is about to go down.
Now I know you'll have many questions, so here are some answers to the more common question:
Who? You and 3 of your buddies
What? The Purge is an event that takes place every so often, allowing people to break any law without any consequences
Where? This event will take place in the city of Los Santos on server 2
When? The Purge will be taking place on September 19, at 8 PM EST
Even though this event means all crime is legal, there are still some rules that apply during this event:
- Absolutely no Racism
- Team limit of 4 people
- If you are outside the area when the time is up, you will be eliminated
- For the first 10 minutes of each round, there will be no killing or harming others (prep time)
- Zone will shrink every 15 mins after start
- No standing in one spot for more than 10 minutes
- No hiding in apartments
- No camping the EC’s
- 50ft safe zone around EC’s (no running to EC's to escape from fighting)
- No hiding in buildings that require you to use a circle to enter
- You can not collect from the same EC twice
- No Stream Sniping
- Job sets will not be allowed during the event
- No aircraft permitted and shooting of aircraft or submarines
- At the end of the entire event, any weapons that you have been given by an EC must be returned
Event Coordinators will be scattered around the play area with special weapons and/or special vehicles for you to use at your disposal.
Note that when you die, you will not lose all of your weapons/inventory! Get all of your weapons out of your house before you enter server 2.
What do I win if my team comes first?
Well, we're glad you asked.
For the first round of the Purge:
1st Place Team will receive $150,000 per member and Dedicated supporter for 1 month per member
2nd Place Team will receive $100,000 per member
3rd Place Team will receive $50,000 per member
The second round is where it gets exciting!
1st Place Team will receive $250,000 and $25 steam gift card to each member of the Team
2nd Place Team Will receive $175,000 per member
3rd Place Team Will receive$100,000 per member
