I think it would be beneficial to the server to further encourage setting good times on stages. Currently the only way points can be received through a stage rank is by getting 100 points for rank 1, but other servers have more expansive point rewards. Sneak's handles stage points as follows:
Rank 1: 100 pts
Rank 2: 75 pts
Rank 3: 55 pts
Rank 4: 40 pts
Rank 5: 30 pts
Rank 6: 25 pts
Rank 7: 20 pts
Rank 8: 15 pts
Rank 9: 12 pts
Rank 10: 10 pts
Beyond R10: 5 pts
Obviously these can be tweaked to be aligned with current map/bonus rewards and would require rank brackets to be shifted (Ranks are also very dense on the low and high end but that's a seperate point) Stages are somewhat their own skillset in surf and should have a stronger influence on a player's rank.
