You ever play Mindnight or have attended a Mindnight event and have people (me, I'm people) scream that someone is a hacker and you don't know why? Here's how I play and you should as well.

A couple of things to harp on:

1) The first two nodes do not matter at all. The only time they ever seemingly matter is if the hackers are stupid enough to hack twice on a node or have both nodes hacked. In the first case, typically there is a 3 person node, 2 hackers hacking in it only further seeds distrust in all 3 players in the node and typically, you can figure who the two are based on voting patterns in the later node votes.

2) Late game, view vote history, and people in hacked/secured nodes. First, unless you are an Admin or a Hacker, you cannot prove yourself or prove anyone around you. Just because someone says, "<Player> is proven to me" doesn't mean he isn't a hacker. Hackers can secure nodes and because of that, you can't confirm that someone is indeed proven as an Agent. So how do you know who could be the hacker? Voting patterns are easy to see, if a node is hacked, note that the players who are in the node and see where those players are attempting to push people back in. For example:

Node 1 (R/O/Y, Hacked by 1)Node 2 (G/B/I/V, Secured)Node 3 (G/B/I/V/Y, Hacked by 2)Node 4 (Y/G/B/I, Secured)Node 5
RedYNYY
OrangeYNNN
YellowYYYY
GreenYYYY
BlueYYYY
IndigoYYNY
Violet YYYN

So what do we see here? Everyone was all in hacked nodes, so now it is a guess of who hacked the nodes. First, look at the first node: R/O/Y. R has voted no to Node 2, yes to Node 3 and no to Node 4. Red, I believe, is a hacker. Why would he say no on a secured node and yes on Node 4? What that tells me is that he expected a fellow hacker to hack in Node 4 and win the game, but instead threw the match. Orange also did the same thing, but said no on Node 3 as well, odds are this is scriptie behavior or throw off suspicion. Yellow and Green and Blue have all said yes to all node votes, the first node isn't sus because you don't know who's who. More inclined to believe it's Agent behavior. Violet and Indigo are wildcards here. Indigo said no to the double hack and Indigo was in the group. Violet said yes on Node 3 but not Node 4 because he was not in the node. Indigo might be the Admin here, voting yes on Node 1 to not look like the outlier and voting no on Node 3 as the outlier when he was in the node, probably knowing full well that Node was getting hacked. Violet might be the other hacker, he voted against Node 4 under the ruse that no one would question it because he was "not in the node so no". So R/O/V are the hackers and Y/G/B/I are the agents.

3) The game doesn't matter because the Nuker is OP. As an Admin, it's hard to suppress how you have magical insight as who's who. You could attempt to let someone take the point but if it's a hacker trying to take the point, you're screwed. You'd have to out yourself by trying to let the rest of the people playing think you are the Admin and try to win based on that. However, it's incredibly easy as a hacker to just convince people with somewhat okay logic.

There's a lot more to this game, this was a bare-bones explanation of the game, you have Hammer, you have talking phases, and different skillsets. Unlike Among Us and Town of Salem, there is no way to confirm that someone is indeed a Hacker or an Agent. It's based on voting patterns, how they are acting, and how much they are saying.

i thought this was gonna be a joke thread. lots of effort put into this lmao gj

kuantum, i respect your effort here.
But somehow ur still bad at the game

but rlly tho, There is not one set way to play the game.

ngl I don't have 1 clue on what you just said but looks like you put a lot of effort into this so Nice.
