I have just disliked this post because this form of discussion is not entertaining, I believe the correct thread for this is trashbin because it has no comedic value. I have no formal background in entertainment, but I have read
Mark Ralkowski's, Louis C.K. and Philosophy: You Don't Get to Be Bored and Paul Ryan's, The Art of Comedy: Getting Serious about Being Funny. In these books one of the main points someone needs to understand is a comedian can be made if someone works on their comedic qualms but, there are a set of systems that seem to lead into more impactful comedic careers. Now that I have established my background, I would like to discuss the fact of the matter. This post has lost the fundamentals of entertainment and when I disincentivize this unfunny content, I am truly putting a good faith effort into changing the status quo towards something other than an unevolved form of irony. If this effort isn't taken with true open mindedness, I don't think Edgegamers will ever be able to have more enjoyable content rise to the top. While this is no essay worthy of a professor, I would love to partake in fruitful discussion on the deep underlying principles, as a somewhat laymen, of entertainment as a whole or more niche ideas on comedy or internet irony.
