Hey guys, I'm looking for a good MMORPG game or just a good game where you pick a character and battle/train it kinda like WoW but not that nerdy(no offense to anybody who plays). Im hearing alot about Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and was wondering what you guys think.

Elder scrolls is just an RPG. an insanely huge and deep RPG. but no mmo part. hehe :O
 
If your gunna say WoW is nerdy then your basicly offending the leader of the MMORPG's (I don't play it though)

So how Is WoW Nerdy and other MMORPG's aren't ?

It was ranked one of the 6th worst MMOs of all time.
Guild Wars is currently my favorite MMO as of now.
 
WoW is only nerdy because it's an MMORPG...People just recognize it more because it is so popular. As soon as people find out you're playing an RPG, you'll always get the "Oh, so it's like WoW".

Once you come to peace with yourself playing nerdy video games, Oblivion is an excellent single player RPG, and Guild Wars is an excellent MMORPG(and no monthly charge either). Of course, if you do come to peace with it you might as well just play WoW.

Silkroad WAS a good game, I was level 80 about a year and a half ago, but The bots are easily created (I even made my own using C++) , The GM's don't do anything,
and the updates are slow and painful,

if you wanna play silkroad play the Japense version of the game , where the GM's actually come online, updates are often, and Botters are few.
 
Guild Wars is fun but you have to buy the game and i wouldnt really consider it an MMORPG because you dont see people intill you go to towns/outposts and you are doing a mission with them in your party. but even then you dont get to see everyone else just you and your party. But the PVP is awesome. if your into PVPing then yeah go for it.

Anarchy Online - Its an awesome Sci Fi game that is F2P ( free to play ) Its really fun when you play with your friends or with someone who knows how to play. It's kind of confusing in the beginning but once you understand how to play it and get the hang of it's really fun. Teamwork/play really shines on this game too.

oh and i wouldnt consider WoW nerdy unless ( sorry for people who do ) play for countless hours non stop.
