in 2 or 3 months i will have enough 4 my new comp im thinking about putting water cooling in it but here is the question how stabel is water cooling i wanna be able 2 take my computer 4 lan parties and such can i do that ?

oh yeah got anouther question while im at it its a tv question whats the difference between hd ready tv,s and full hd tv,s ?
 
for water cooling make sure u get good wireing cuz u dont want a leak in ur comp xD other then that its pretty good
 
As far as WCing goes, if you have good clamps then most movement should be fine... obviously if you get that rough with it then I'm sure your HDD's won't appreciate it lol.


And they also say that the likely hood of your pump to fail is also the same as your heatsink fan...


What kind of comp you plan on WCing? and why go WCing? (curiosity)

As Long as you have good case cooling you shouldn't need WC'ing, Plus for LAN's it can be a hassle, and WC'ing is easy to make a mess of.
 
i just really wanna know how stabel it is because its some very exspensive stuff im putting in this new build and i want 2 be able 2 throw the comp in my car and drive away 2 lan,s and stuff
 
For portability, I wouldn't recommend WC. I recently had a pretty in depth debate with a bunch of people on tomshardware forums and really you only are going to need watercooling if you are going to be OCing your cpu and gpu very aggressively. And, also being an owner of the antec 900, the case itself pushes so much air that really you can cool your components with nice convection cooling. I don't know if you know much about lapping but if you read into it you can get much better cooling by lapping and getting a nice cpu cooler (Thermalright Ultra Extreme 120) with a fan as well as a nice GPU cooler(s). WCing is going to be tricky if you intend to run a quad-sli set up with the two 9800gx2. I would assume you would intend on WCing the gpus? also if you're lugging this around if everything isn't internal then its going to be quite the hassle
 
WCing can be a hassle.. ive seen it done before, and it does take a while and its messy (dual WCing on a machine once)... as of reliability... the stuff in the cooling isnt actually water... its a liquid that it does not have a charge, therefore if there is any spillage, it will not short out your board or anything... you will just have a big mess. but that is if you buy that type of liquid XD
