So, now that the !count command has a delay, checking cells when you have no sus/proof that there are prisoners inside, should be considered as pursuing without sus, right?

I made that question inside the server and @Belt and @RonBurgund told me that indeed, it was that case but i wanted to hear the opinion of the community.

I won't be (immediately) swapping CT's that check cells to verify if there's T's hiding though, because everyone has done it in the past until now. Just a warn and it's good.

Gracias por su atencion.

Because !count is a command it doesn't mean you can't check cells for rebellers. It's never been a written ruke but it's just common sense to check cells as someone could be hiding there. If warden does !count and he knows everyone is there then the CT shouldn't check cells but its cancer to swap them for it because they mighn't have heard warden.

Admins be changing the rules for their own liking just soo they can swap people around and make people not kill them. They just make up some bs rule that falls into "Admin discretion" without asking an at or anything lol. There really should be a limit on the ammount of admins and they should get demoted over time if they get inactive, atleast demoted to e.

I post it because the same rule could be applied when you go around the map pursuing rebellers when you don't have any active suspicious. And i never talked about swap them, just a warning but if they do it again, a swap is necessary.

Admins don't change rules so that they can easily swap people around. Rules are thinked then made in order to have a better gaming experience.

That was a thing? You had to count before checking cells? I felt like on so many maps CT's would check cells the moment the T's got into a marker. Like on Minecraft Beta for example when the warden would put the T's under the stairs or in the pit, the CT's would go to cells and check it immediately even if the warden hasn't said anything about counting.

I do consider it a violation, but it's not something I swap for. I usually do a wwwkb. I do have an exception though that I use.

I mean yeah, the only reason CT's checked cells and no one has ever said anything was because at the beginning of the round warden usually did !count and if there was someone missing, he could potentially be inside cells. I'm talking in my experience playing Jailbreak, Ct's rarely checked cells when warden didn't do !count before.

It was that until well until now that !count has a delay. And i'm asking the question because now in my point of view, it was changed that way in order to balance the jailbreak server and give T's another opportunity to rebel.

Well it's sort of common sense, all of the T's are in the cells, there is usually almost always people that hide in the cells. Before !count was added (it's a trash command :D), CT's always checked cells, no matter what. You shouldn't have to rely on the !count command to check cells.

To be honest, this would better be in the admin help thread for ATs to answer (Here). I am not an AT but my answer would be to NOT swap them. My question is what rule are they breaking? Because "pursuing without suspicion" encompasses multiple rules.
  • Play prisoner games unless it is LR, a freeday, or required to pursue a rebellers
  • Partake in T-Secrets without actively pursuing the T's unless it is LR/freeday (do not camp secrets).
  • Damage vents or go into them unless you hear/see/suspect a prisoner has gone through (do not camp vents)
  • Be out of sight from prisoners, unless actively hunting rebellers (do not camp restricted areas).
I believe the only argument you could make against checking cells is "Be out of sight from prisoners, unless actively hunting rebellers (do not camp restricted areas)". Being out of sight mostly implies heading to different sections of the map without reason. Since Ts are held around cells at the start of the game, It should be within CTs powers to check cells area and complete it, even if Warden Leaves.

Then again, I am not an AT.

I feel like CT's should be able to look at cells for prisoners that aren't following orders. A lot of people do it, even myself. I didn't know this was a controversial situation. There's mainly 1 or more Prisoner that's AFK or hiding in the cells every round.

The changes to !count having a delay were put in place as a balance to the command, as you were previously able to instantly see if there were rebellers right at the start of the round, without any effort. There have been no rule changes based around pursuing, and CT's are still allowed to pursue the cells like they always have been. If we were going to change something like this, it would be directly stated in our rules, not just something "implied." We will not currently be looking to make any changes to this rule, but appreciate the suggestion~
