Hello everyone!

I was really just wanting to post on here and get some insight into the roleplay side of the community. I have never done roleplay, but have obviously seen it and watched it through streamers. I think it looks like a lot of fun and something I would consider trying, but at the same time just have no idea where I would take it. I was maybe looking for some of your guys sides of things and how easy/weird it is to start up and get into and any advice if I were to try it out!

The best advice I can give is to make a character with defined goals.

Who do you want to be? A rich, law abiding citizen who has some influence in the city?
A criminal mastermind who specializes in robbing banks?
A police officer maybe?

Create a character with a back story that sort of is leading to one of those roles (or whatever else you want to do, hell you could be a homeless crackhead if you wanted to lol) and then start working IC to fulfill them. Sometimes things go sideways, just keep rolling with the punches and see where it takes you!

All in all RP is fun and the EGO server is a good place to learn.

That's pretty cool. One of my favorite sketch shows. I wish they did something past 2015. Was awesome while they were around!

Also, I made note that you said happy veterans day to brothers and sisters - I'm not sure with the new site..but, we used to have a specific award specific for armed forces.
