Awards are Coming to the Discord For a few weeks, the idea of discord awards for Overwatch has been tossed around, and I know a few of you guys have expressed interest in these. Some people were expecting this, while others may find this completely out of the blue, however after a lot of brainstorming I am happy to announce the Overwatch discord will be getting an award system!

Discord Diva Someone who is active in the Overwatch discord and helps to make it a fun and welcoming environment.
Welcoming Committee Someone who always welcomes new members into the discord and offers to play with them, help them out, or show them around.
Minigame Master Someone who wins ten minigame events.
On Fire Someone who beats each OW LE member in a 1v1 arena.
New Heroes Someone who refers people to sign up for their e-tag and/or helps people sign up.
Event-Aholic Someone who frequents Overwatch events.
Queue Savvy Someone who queues with people in the discord frequently.

These are not all the awards to come, more will be added as time goes on! Users can earn these awards by meeting the requirements described under each awards. The Overwatch LE team (hi that's me) will be deciding on some of these awards whereas awards such as New Heroes will be given out at events and such. I am going to wait a few weeks before giving out any awards to give people time to work hard towards getting a specific award. These awards will be soon posted in the Overwatch information center and I will also be making a forum listing what awards have been earned by members. These awards will also take the form of a role on discord. A new category for awards has been created and will be given to every member in the discord with an e-tag (which is required to earn awards) as soon as this is posted! I am sure veteran members are wondering, what about forum awards? Since forum awards aren't working right now these won't be considered your normal "forum awards" however once they are up and running, I will be working on getting these integrated into forum awards!
