At the bottom of the home page in the "Recent Threads" section, would it be possible to not show applications there?

It looks quite retro, but too plain, which is why I voted no. The "e in the G+O" logo is a definate improvement, but the plain blue skin around is SAS (sold as seen), just too plain.
After joining on the original TF2 website, when they were all seperate, I loved the Skin containing the TF2 characters (notably the heavy) and the variety of skin options available. Perhaps, as this is now a 'Mixed' forum, we could have a Skin combining characters from TF2, DoD or CS:S or maybe an option of skins available to all the forumers.

P.S, and a note to GardenVW, did you notice all the people you had to PM had names beginning with B's? It's a personality trait

Well, Emeril usually just uses some chili powder and shouts "BAM!", but I'm not sure if the server will take to chili powder too well...

Well Voted no that I didnt like it, but thats only because there was not an option that said "there are some things I like and somethings I dont"


I would like it if for the people that are members and logged in that the home page had direct links to scrim events.

Color is sorta plain and makes every thing sorta blend in. would be nice if you could personalize your own web page skin like I have seen on other pages.

these are really picky things im listing though and overall the web page is obviously made by some talented people

I think that under the division quicklink menus (eg TF2/DoD:S/CSS/CoD4) that the following items should be added:

Apply (Recruitment Forum)
Transfer Area
Access Request

Also, if you want to find out how much buttons are being used
just add a line to the php that whenever one of the top buttons get clicked a counter (somewhere, your choice, text file, database, etc.) gets incremented. So if you want, you can axe the least used things.

I think this website runs very well for it's purpose and it has improved considerably from the old one and a little from the first vBulletin one.

However, I feel (I don't feel - I know coz I've used this before) that this uses a forum template for the entire site.

For those that disagree: Go to the homepage and have a look at the content in the middle. The titles are thread titles for a forum.

Dotted all over the place (not in the forum - I'm not talking about that) are little things that you get in a forum, like 'Mark Forums Read'.

I think this website could be perfect if it didn't use a forum template.

Anyway, MUCH better!

I found a mod the other day while searching through all of my vB mods and I came across a "Steam IM card" mod. What it simply does is adds a "Steam Card" like the MSN, Yahoo, and AIM messenger cards.

Its easier so everyone can have their steam info just like MSN, AIM, and Yahoo messengers, and everyone has the chance to add them if they want.

No offense but you need to learn how to deal with change. eGO is growing very fast and its only going to get bigger. Change will be expected.
