well done on the new site, my only suggestion is i wish the navigation was limited to a few mouse clicks, i honestly thought the original nesting was perfect since i could see everything in 1 page. i understand that we have merged with other sites and try to keep it clean. but i dont see why not we could have it where everything is exposed. on side tidbit, xbox live in-game menu is very successful because of less clicks to reach a certain area. but nonetheless, this is a very good clean improvement. i cant wait for the skin themes

Love the site, most of all I love the shoutbox. But in my opinion the user br area in the forum section of the site is huge. Thus making the message area like a coloum. Love the site.

Two questions:

1) Why do I have to click someone to directly quick reply to! I just like to quick reply in general! =o

1) This website is REALLY REALLY sweet. I happen to ADORE vBulletin, I'm amazed y'all sprang for their license.

When Quick Reply is enabled, you may specify whether or not users must click the Quick Reply icon in order to start typing in the Quick Reply editor.

If you choose not to require a click, the system will not know to which post a user is replying, making both the threaded and hybrid display modes non-sensical.

As for the license, vB isn't too bad it you purchase the licesne. I've been pushing fr vB for some time now and since eGO isn't going anywhere any time soon the cost per year is really low!... IMHO.

It is possible to make the quick reply field not require a click; however if you are viewing the forums in "thread view" it does mess up the display. Chance are we can enable this w/o causing a problem; however that is up to the eGO leaders.

The three options are:
Disable quick reply (requires a click just to see the entry field)
Quick Reply w/ Click
Quick Reply w/o Click

It seems that many people want the w/o click option so I'll leave it up to eGO.

yeah the whole click to quick reply is annoying, if you want to type a thought out quick w/o loosing it then u'd better be patient cause you have to click the button...
