Are we ever going to see a return of our event Calendar?

Is the lack of its use in the past by certain Event managers the reason why it hasn't returned?

It would be nice to see it return and have every supported game that holds events be required to post their events there. It would make it l easy for members to see what events are occurring

Maybe to assist in event attendance, have an article in the news spotlighting the weeks events including links to their event announcement posts so members can be more informative on the happenings in regards to these events.

There actually is a bunch of prereqs that EC's have to follow, and we have internal lists of that stuff. I can't comment on those requisites, or what internal tools we do or don't have; but I can SPECULATE on how much of it will return to public viewing.

Tech would probably have a more definitive answer; but I imagine a public facing calendar will be added soon.
It's a no-brainer.

Keep in mind; WE JUST got back our home page with the news posts, which I'm sure is still being worked on right now to ensure things are perfect. There is a literal laundry load of things that need added back and are scheduled to be worked on. So I would assume that a calendar is already on there.
Now without diverting the subject I do think we should be further along; but tech is showing effort to bring us there. Additionally it isn't here nor there.

Now, based off your post ur concerned about those aformentioned requisites. Again; I won't comment on the exacts, but I will say we take pretty extensive care, and they are imho sufficient to get good events hosted consistently.

I’m pretty sure we have said we’re seeing a return of the calander. why wouldn’t we. it’s sooo helpful !

i like the suggestion of having a post spotlighting the weeks events in a post , however, we would need to get all ECs to post their event post before a specific day then which isn’t always reliable and a lot of people forget to do that

I just made a proposal in the internal EC area in order to i believe patch what the basis of your suggestion is about. I obviously will not go into detail but if it goes through i hope to see what problems you described addressed.

I was actually thinking about this a couple of days ago. Its kind of a pain to go through threads trying to find the events. If anything it would be super convenient.

Whats the progress on this? Any news or updates? Its not exactly rocket science to create a GCaledar and embed it into a site, i get techs workload. Been three months with no new news

As I said, its on the roadmap. Maybe it will be added, maybe not. It depends on Tech and the ComMgr team to add it.
