Crosshairs and you

So what's going on with crosshairs. Are they against the rules? I know people used to use them all the time a year back, now its either taboo or not allowed. Do yall use crosshairs? Are they against the rules? The rules don't specifically say anything but I'm unsure as of right now.

I never use crosshairs or any external monitor crosshair, although I know it is available.

Also, from an RP point of view, crosshairs are not realistic given that it is a non scoped weapon.

Not all crosshairs fall under modified game files, but i understand your point here. I personally am against crosshairs but couldnt find a set in stone answer from anyone.

Wait you guys dont put a dot with a sharpie on your eye?! Fr tho from what I know the rules on crosshairs are still against the rules. but there's no way we can prove that someone is using one. If there's a vod or video proof it would be up to LE how to handle it. but to answer your question as far as I know, it is against the rules. It would prob go under what Moyye's picture shows which crosshairs are under that category. Also would go under Fail RP I assume.
