A pinned thread in each "division" for members to let people know if they will be MIA for a while

Rather than maybe eating up more space by making new posts each time any one particular member has life issues or whatnot, could there be a pinned or sticky post at the top of each game forum that is a simple "post here if you think you'll be out for a while"
Not a required thing to post if you or someone else is going to be away for a while, just a way to save server / forum space maybe?

Fair point. Maybe not a "where is so-and-so" thread, but something along a similar vein / idea?
