That's awesome! You were on the Constellation! I have a special place in my heart for all the carriers whose names were carried into the Star Trek universe. Much respect! :) Thank you for posting. Please keep posting folks, the 4th is coming!

This may seem a bit late, but I am a moron and didn't post it here to begin with. I'm not used to the shared general forums. Basically, we will be recognizing all of our military veterans, the list posted on the 4th. This is open to any member of any military, in any country. You will be give a military service ribbon once we have the new award system in place. Please post and make sure you get recognized!

About Yourself: Went to bootcap at Great Mistakes. Was assigned to VFA27 Chargers stationed in Lemoore California. Spent seven months there when the goverment decided to move the entire squadron to NAF Atsugi in Japan, and on the USS Independence when deployed, which was alot since we were a forward deployed unit. I think I spent 8 months a year at sea. In 98 they decommished the Independence, and we crossed hauled over to the Kitty Hawk in Pearl Harbor Hawaii. I left the military in 99, and have never looked back, except for the wonderful friends I left behind.

Thank you to each and every one of you who has served, or is serving. We're having technical difficulties at the moment, but you will ALL be awarded a ribbon for military service regardless of what country you serve. As an American, and being that it's our independence day, I have a concentrated desire to recognize the armed forces. If you've posted here it means that you have the ability to do so, and that means that you have freedom. Celebrate that, regardless of where you live.

Since my news post didn't make it out, I'll say it here. Thank you to each and every single person who is serving or has served in the armed forces. It doesn't matter what country, the point is the same. Every single person who plays with us has the freedom to do so. My reason for this whole post and ribbon that will ensue is definitely because I live in the United States and it is our Independence Celebration today. As I said, all of us here have freedom and ironically it is never free. It's cost us all something. So, I want to say thank you to those who have put their lives on the line for what they believe in. And I want to say also that I, personally, will never take for granted what you have fought to give me. Thank you vets! Happy Independence Day!

Agreed. I'll try to keep this short.

I have and always will honor those who serve their country in this manner. I will say THANK YOU. Without you America would not exist for the people of today. You have payed the highest price and put your lives on the line to protect this country. I think I can say for all eGO, we are PROUD of our fighting men and women. We shall never forget...

THANK YOU!!

About Yourself: Proud father of two, the second only being 11 days old. I am married to a wonderful woman for the past four years, and live in the Seattle area. I drive the city transit bus and love my job very much. New to this site and hope it is full of mature people who just want to have fun and frag people. I am very down to earth and enjoy photography and PC Games. Oh and my time in the Coast Guard was great Semper Paratus!

I just want to say thank you for recognizing all of us members of the military. Sure, there is some inter-service rivalry brought on by the pride of our own. However, we all serve and work together. And by doing so, we cannot be stopped.

Lastly, I would like to honor one of my own.
