Unfortunately, nobody can get any of the good parts right now except if you pay 2x-3x the original price or you're a scalper. I was wondering if the Ryzen 5900X is a good combination with the NVIDIA RTX 3080 FE? Since we've got some time before anyone can get their hands on them.

I think if your gonna go a 3080 i would be going like a Ryzen 7 but ya I would say that is a fine combo. I believe those two parts work well together.
