I was trying to tell GardenGroveVW how the shoutbox breaks the other day, and he implied I was on something 
So I took some screenshots:
This is what it looks like after someone posts a long line/link:
And after it scrolls off the screen:
You can see that the box gets shorter and there is a scroll bar along the bottom that moves left/right after someone posts a link or uses a long line.
If it helps, I'm using firefox 2 and my display resolution is 1280x1024.
I don't mind if the solution is just to stop people from posting links in the shoutbox, but I thought I would give the site admins some data to work with in case they think they can fix whatever is going on.
