FiveM, House garages

Currently, when you own a house, anyone with a key to that house can take out any car, yet not put a car back if it doesn't belong to them. Can probably see the noticeable problems with this and I'm sure leadership knows of this. It's a really big issue for people that have a lot of people living in 1 house and all the car names are "NULL" or we have the same car. a solution if can be done(idk how difficult fivem scripts are to work with), Players could put any car in the garage if the player has a house key and the corresponding owner of the car has a house key.
Being able to name your cars would also be a great way to organize any garage listing, maybe even the garage having something in the menu that tells you if a car belongs to you.
The main reason for this is I got off for a couple of hours the other day with 11 cars in my garage and got back on to 3. Could justify just remember the license plates but we all rotate the number of cars we put in garages, as I'm sure everyone else does if they have objective locations on the other sides of the map from each other, (House on one side of Los Santos, work on the other).

All I can say are people arent smart when they are putting their cars in your garage cause then they have to make a CL, LE has to find out who owns it, message them, ask them when they can get on, make you get that person's car get out of your garage, then yell at the person that put their car in your garage.

This is easily rectified by not sharing house garages? Just use any of the city's garages if you don't own a house/garage.... Seems like a giant waste of time to work on implementing this (if it's even possible) when there are many other important things that could be implemented that would actually benefit the whole playerbase and not just a few random people who share garages.

I feel like more people share houses then you'd think, and youre criticism just sounds like an insult by minimizing what someone else is issue

Sharing houses does not equal sharing garages though... which was the main point of my post.

I wasn't trying to come off insulting and not even sure why you would think my opinion is insulting. There are way more important things to be worrying about than renaming cars in a house garage. It's completely a "quality of life" issue and there are much bigger things going on right now...

The problem is easily rectified by OP's suggestion of remembering license plates of your vehicles. Pen and paper, DnD style. Otherwise, use the regular garages and it's literally not even an issue.

sorry, was a stupid suggestion.

I don't think it was a stupid suggestion.

What my roommates usually do is go ahead and write down the plate numbers and keep them. It would be nice for my business to take out only our cars, but it really comes down to if I think it's even able to be done.

Especially because you can't put another person's car back in the garage if you accidentally take it out.
Never feel like your suggestion is stupid!

Yeah, I don't think it was a stupid suggestion either. Not what I meant by what I said. I just don't know how feasible it is to pull off (if it is) and that there are other pressing things that are being done or need to be done. Writing down your license plate numbers or using the city garages rectifies the issue but having this "quality of life" isn't a stupid suggestion.
