One of the hardest things to master in Overwatch isn't game mechanics, aim, positioning, or any of that. The most important thing is your attitude, aka your mentality in game. You have to go into every game with the mindset of "I want to not only win and do what I have to to win, I also want to learn and need to understand that some things are just out of my control." Some games you just lose. That's apart of playing the game. But don't give into the quitter mindset, into the blame mindset, into the toxic mindset. Is your monkey diving in and feeding every fight? Try to switch Zarya and bubble him when he dives. Your Echo getting picked by the enemy Widow? Go Mercy and try to focus heals/damage boost on your Echo. People are stubborn. They don't like accepting that they may be the problem. When you encounter this, don't flame them. Try to enable them to do better.
This mindset will not only change the way you play for the better, but will make the game more enjoyable overall. Treat every loss as a lesson and try to get better from it.
