What is A Silent Voice?
It is time for all the homies to be emotional! This is arguably one of the most adorable movies to ever exist, and it pulls on my heart strings every time I see anything about it.

The story revolves around Shôko Nishimiya, a grade school student who has impaired hearing. She transfers into a new school, where she is bullied by her classmates, especially Shôya Ishida. It gets to the point where she transfers to another school and as a result, Shôya is ostracized and bullied himself, with no friends to speak to and no plans for the future. Years later, he sets himself on a path to redemption.




How do I attend?
The event will take place in the Edgegamers Overwatch discord found here: EGO Overwatch Discord. In the Discord we will be streaming the movie in the Cozy Lounge voice channel (7pm EST on the 7th).

nope, all you have to do is be on the discord. We plan on doing a good amount of non-ow related events like watch parties
 
damn i remember my first watch of this movie, i literally was sobbing at 3 in the morning. it was tough to watch because of my experiences with depression but holy shit its so good. I'll for sure try and make it to this event to cry with everyone else <3
 
Voice acting always pisses me off in nearly any movie, but the plot was awesome regardless.
