1. Money laundering location
Laundering money is a huge hassle! The people who clean money for other players are RARELY ever on, and most of the time when they are, they don't even clean money (sry, don't mean to offend anyone). Not to mention the constant robberies occurring... Many criminals have been sitting on a pile of dirty money for a while, and I feel adding a circle/location back where players can manually clean their money would be optimal. I understand people camping said location would probably be an issue, so possibly make robbing people at said location against the rules? Could think of other solutions to that as well. As far as RP goes, I do not think the RP now is much better, honestly. It's either constantly asking someone to get in the city, or going up to them, giving them $10 dirty money, getting $9 clean back, then parting ways. Rare to get genuine and unique RP out of it, despite countless attempts to do so. If a physical location isn't possible, I still feel there are better alternatives to the system now that I would be happy to discuss.

2. Rolling paper
Pretty much exactly what I said above. Getting rolling paper is unnecessarily difficult and time consuming, and the RP involved is literally paying someone to put rolling paper in your cars for half an hour (if you get extremely lucky and have a rolling paper dealer get in the city). There should be either more rolling paper dealers added, or a manual process players can go through to get rolling paper themselves. Will also be happy to discuss additional alternatives.

(Just to make it clear with the two suggestions above; I am not reluctant to RP with others, nor am I expecting crime RP to be easy - I just feel there is no meaningful and fair RP coming from either of these systems. Why should 1-3 people be able to make MILLIONS and control practically the entire illegal economy? The disparity is too large.)

3. More cars, less cars
Add more custom cars and do a recall on un-used ones that take up unnecessary space, as was done a while ago. I feel this would bring the dealerships a LOT of RP/business, and I'm sure the players will appreciate a new variety of custom cars. Again, I understand cars take up a lot of space, which is why I suggest to remove the unnecessary ones.

4. House robberies (npc houses, not player houses)
See these in tons of other servers, I think it would really revamp the server. Obviously, I understand this would probably be a ton of work for the coders, so this is a relatively low-priority suggestion.

5. Skyscrapers?
Currently, skyscraper apartments/penthouses are not a thing, I believe because skyscrapers are glitched and cannot be made into properties. Personally speaking, I would LOVE to purchase a unit in a skyscraper, and I'm sure D8 would appreciate the influx in RP. Perhaps try to find out if this can be fixed?

6. Repair kits
A little confused on this subject, as everyone I have asked seems to have a different answer. As far as I know, mechanics do not sell repair kits. If I am wrong, please correct me. Repair kits not being available is a very big issue, for many reasons. First of all, let's say you're going down LS Freeway and an NPC lags right in front of you, breaking your car - no mechanics are on duty. What do you do? Do you spend an hour of your time walking to the impound? Do you spend an hour of your time walking to the garage to pull out your tow truck, even though you can't have a CDL? Do you break the law and steal a vehicle, then "ditch" it at the garage? Not to mention players' cars constantly being abandoned on the side of the road, bound to build up and eventually lag the server. This situation and ones like it are very common, which is why I feel that making repair kits more accessible to players would be a BIG stress reliever. (This, of course, only applies if I am right when I say mechanics don't sell repair kits. If they do, I apologize and you can just ignore this suggestion).

7. Clothes
Not necessarily a big deal, but I figured I'd bring it up anyway. The same clothes have been in the server for years, I'm positive new ones are able to be added. However, I perfectly understand if it takes up an unnecessary amount of space or costs too much, just a small suggestion.

8. Lockpicks
Not a big issue, but usually when you lockpick a car then get out, it re-locks. Doesn't really make sense

9. Aircraft
Perhaps more aircraft, or even a player owned aircraft dealership? I'd love to be involved with that, think that would bring very unique RP. Or at least remodel the Airlines, it has a lot of potential and it's sad to see nothing coming from it.

10. Power station hacking thing
What is this, lol

11. NoPixel racing script
Or something like it. Much more organized and engaging than player-run races, I think this would add an insane amount of RP for everyone.

As said above, I am more than happy to discuss any of these ideas, they can all be expanded upon! Thanks

The first two suggestions you've made could easily work in your favor. You have to of course find the right people, not be a snitch (I'm not implying you are) and of course take the time to figure out who does what. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing too, but these 'people' are always in the city at specific times and specific days.

nuff said.

Without commenting on anything else, Experienced+ mechanics can sell you repair kits now for $500 each! :D

1) There are people who wash money. Reliable people. You have to make sure your character is just as reliable and they'll work with you. It's high risk which is why it's done in a shady way but I'm sure if you talk to the right people, you'll get something out of it. The RP is there, you're just not talking to the right people yet or finding the right people. There could be many reasons for this. Either you a) made the washer angry or b) you just haven't found them yet. It takes a lot of time and effort and that's a good thing it's just not handed to you. Having a location is kinda boring imo because cops could just camp the area.

2) I agree there should be MORE rolling paper. But it's not difficult at all. It's an order form and waiting for someone to see the notification to fill up trucks. That's easy enough and you get the amount you need. The whole reason my rolling paper thing exists is so that the money from the rolling paper goes to different people who put in the work. I promise you it's not being hoarded in the way you're implying.

5) Houses are UNDER the map. They're not bugged.

7) Suggest new clothes with clothes you want to see on the server! They're super willing to work with you if there's a demand for it (like the hair thing for the ladies ♥)

10) The power station brings down the whole grid lol it's actually really fun to see when people actually successfully do it because all the lights in the city turn off.

Didn't read all of these suggestions just the first few, in my opinion, it's best for the server if we move away from circles and locations to do x like clean money, it can be done in roleplay and is generally more fun than sitting and going to a circle and doing it.

House robberies were a thing a little bit ago, they'd have to be fixed though as I believe you could take everything out of someone's house. Players weren't too happy about that.

I see. When I said house robberies, I meant robbing NPC's houses, and taking items such as TV's or gold and being able to pawn it. Being able to rob players' houses would honestly just suck lol.

And, as far as the first thing you said, I'm sure a compromise can be made. For example, the set rate at the money wash circle is 75%, while players offer 85%. People would still be incentivized to RP with players, the circle is just there for when there are no washers on and have not been for multiple days, which is often.

The people who wash money are on everyday at specific times of the day. It's pretty rare for the city to not have someone who washes money come into the server... so, I'm sorry but it's not often.

1. Money laundering location
The main issue with the Money Laundering location, like you, said came down to people camping it. We introduced the being Player Ran to attempt to increase more RP, also with the old location, the people who were running it got shut down by the police. We would have to find a Viable option for this whilst still making it positive for Roleplay.

2. Rolling paper
Rolling paper was added to create like with the Money Laundering system, to establish a line for there to be actually communication and sale of items in between players, rather than just the very boring sit in a circle and grind it.

3. More cars, less cars
The current Car market has very fluctuated with an extreme amount of vehicles. Over time these vehicles have added up in people's garages, and some of the older vehicles that aren't sold as often have become some sort of their own Rare Vehicle economy. A lot of people have been stocking up and collecting some of these old vehicles. I cant see a reason to remove these vehicles from their garages especially with the economy that comes along with it.
4. House robberies (npc houses, not player houses)
House Robberies are very cool, but it would be a matter of finding a script that would operate without causing issues with our other scripts, I like this Idea ill be looking into it.
5. Skyscrapers?
Technically you can buy any building with Dynasty8, the old apartment script that you are referring to does not operate along with our current housing script. The only way for you to do this would be to Purchase a Skyscraper with Dynasty8 and have them put an apartment inside of the building for you.
6. Repair kits
They realized the issue and the Mechanics have begun to start selling these again, so just walk up to your local SSS and they should have some for sale.

7. Clothes
The current clothing is all basic Stock GTA excluding a few for PD and EMS, we have been working on getting some of the new clothes from the GTA DLC updates, but they don't work with our current artifact. We need to fix a few parameters before we can push to the new artifact. After this is done new clothing will come along with it.

8. Lockpicks
Lockpicks operate with a completely different script than our current locking script, this is the reason that it doesn't save the Unlocked variable after using a lockpick, this comes with a grain of salt, obviously, this is an issue, but with the current script we have in place, I don't see a fix for this. I will still be looking into a Viable option although.

9 Aircraft
Currently, the only Aircraft Dealership is local run and out of the LSIA, although there is that was in place to operate the Airlines, the airlines were operated by Ryan Flemmings (who is currently LOA) but he was the main man for running LSIA and the granting of Flight Licenses.

10 Power Station
The Palmer Taylor Power station is the Central power for all of Los Santos, with this in mind it has is vulnerabilities, the vulnerabilities can be attacked to take of the Power of the city.

11 Racing
Currently, the only way of Organising a race is by operating it from either Twitter or /ad, these two methods have worked for what I have done in the past and I rarely see them being utilized, I think if these start getting utilized and it shows that they are ineffective, this could be a potential addition.

juice juice

Just want to start off by saying I really appreciate you responding to each of the suggestions :)

Money washing - Couple ideas; add more player-dealers, change the locations periodically, have multiple locations at once (preventing camping), have the location(s) in a place where camping would be very difficult, enforce the no-camping rule. Any of these would be better than the current system, with all due respect.

Rolling paper - Same as above. I understand rolling paper is different than dirty money, so adding more dealers would probably be the best move.

Cars - I understand your point, I was just trying to look for a solution that would result in custom cars being added more often. Low supply, high demand... need more supply

Skyscrapers - I was told by a D8 agent that skyscrapers are unable to be made into properties as they are glitched, something along the lines of that. Obviously normal houses aren't, but I believe skyscrapers are, which is why I brought it up.

Repair kits - You can only buy three per day, given a high-ranking mechanic even gets on duty. Even people who drive 10 under the limit are bound to need more than three repair kits in a day. Think this should be fixed

Aircraft - Take PDM for example; they receive new imports, then release them to the public. Wouldn't it be cool if it was the same for aircraft? I understand there is the NPC heli/plane dealer at LSIA, but I feel a player-run aircraft dealership would be awesome.

Power station - What is thermite though? Is it even in the server?

Racing - Speaking for myself, I haven't seen a race outside of a server event for MONTHS. I understand your point, however I feel adding this would incentivize civs to participate in races, and finally use their super cars for what they're meant for. The script organizes the checkpoints and whatnot much easier.

Thoughts?

I have quite a bit of Thermite actually. It's definitely in the server and you can definitely shut the power down on the whole city with it. It's not an easy feat though and I wouldn't try to do it alone.

Money Washing - There have been new methods pushed out to induce and create roleplay. These methods seem to be the best outcome whilst being able to avoid the "afk" grinding that money laundering used to be. This implements an actual system.

Rolling Paper - There have been many businesses starting to export paper in high amounts, Last time I checked Hotspot Bar and Guns have recently come into a large amount of paper and its been selling fast, maybe get your hands on some before they run out?

Cars - I agree with the need of more supply, with Parkers opening up recently, there may be some new vehicles produced with that, but only time will tell.

Skyscrapers - I can look into the reasoning behind the issues with this, but since all of the shells associated with the Housing, script have to be placed under the actual property so it doesn't stick out. This would still be accomplishable but I don't think you will be able to get the view you are looking for.

Repair Kits - We need to think in the mind of RP here, you can purchase up to 5 a day from the mechanics, which I think is fair because if the amount was higher you guys would practically push them out of business.

Aircraft - This would be very cool, but the only exception now is finding someone who would be interested in possibly running a dealership, other than that if no one steps up and offers to run it, its most likely going to continue to be local run.

Powerstation - The power station like I said requires Thermite, there is quite a few people that have some extra laying around, its just about finding the right crowd and getting your hands on some of that cheeky explosives.

Races - With this in mind, myself and a few friends have recently started to get an old Race scene we had at once back started up, stick around and keep your eyes on twitter. You may find something interesting going on :) .

I'm just going to comment on a few things

1st. Money Laundering
The lack of a location adds more RP and player to player based communication. If a circle would be added for this, id recommend the rate being super high, like 60-75% to discourage players from using it and trying to add to RP. When there was a circle for it before it was commonly camped and most people would just be robbed, no one liked that.

2nd. Rolling Papers
While yes, it doesn't make sense for a convenience store not to sell rolling papers, its again done this was to add player to player RP. A few more sellers would be nice so there is always someone that's either on the server to sell them or have them in stock.

3. Cars
If cars are to be removed id say remove half of the fucking supercars. There are way to many supercars for sale and not enough casual daily drivers. Ill never understand that.

5. Skyscrapers
This would be really cool but the houses spawn under the ground so its not currently available with the script in place, that being said u can live in a skyscraper as aside from a handful of properties, everything is for sale.

That's all I got to say
