This is getting too much negative feedback because I can't explain why I think there should be a age limit that I might as well delete it (I neither know how to lock/close it or delete so it's gonna be stuck like this).

Totally this, I've seen some really nice kids in the game and some who were nice until the people around them get them to get toxic, in that type of age they tend to copy whatever is happening around them, a lil swear like "you dogwater" is not bad, but as people going now its pretty toxic, so please be nice towards everyone at all times <3

Their mind is filled with people cursing and being toxic to other players. It corrupts them. We have a age restriction so we have more mature and responsible players. Thank you I wasn't aware of this. I didn't intend to say that the servers are made to influence young people to be toxic and swear if I did I'm very sorry I meant to say that a game like csgo most importantly servers which have more freedom than official matchmaking isn't an environment for a non-adult is what I wanted to say

Having an age restriction is something edgegamers is not about, if you read it about page it reads

"having a fun and competitive gaming experience that all can enjoy."

we welcome everyone to come and enjoy the community and enjoy their stay, like ghost states younger people become toxic when they see others being toxic and harassing people. Instead of putting an age restriction, if you see someone being toxic or harassed, you can do something about it, by making a report on the forums with the Report a player thread or contact an admin.

People in Csgo as now are being toxic towards each other, in JB i see people harrasing and insulting other people just because they are kids, their voice and other thing, that is what i mean for toxic, something we don't accept in EdgeGamers like Martin, we allow people of all kind to play in the server

First of all, swearing is not something that eGO can control, the players can always scream some bad things when admins are offline. It is there parents job, too stop them from swearing. Again it is the parents decision to let them play the game, cough cough* ima be honest with you parents never moderate there kids anymore but, still the point stands.

First of all, swearing is not something that eGO can control

Should have been here a decade ago when we were family friendly and had "R Rated" rooms in Ventrilo for freedom of cursing and would warn/kick/ban for swearing lol.

Based on the few times I went into the CS:GO servers, if we banned people under 18 the server would be empty.

Everyone is welcome on our servers. Players should realize they are in a public space and need to behave. Somehow people are able to control their language when around parents, in class and in church, but in a game server they think it's ok to be disrespectful and vulgar. This is sad and weird. We have rules in place so that everyone can be comfortable joining our servers. If you absolutely have to swear, join another server. If you're an admin, be a role model by communicating respectfully and getting rid of players who violate our rules.
