This is an idea for a new company to start up in the city. What I see is that police agencies and medics get medical supplies for free. I also see that to get bandages in the city you have to buy them from Pillbox from a medic. I think that instead of police agencies and medics getting an unlimited amount of medical supplies for free and then also be able to sell them to make money shouldn't be a thing. I think in this city we need a pharmaceutical company that receives shipments(at a cost) and then that company will have shipments of these medical supplies out to police agencies and hospitals. We will also have a shop we were sell medical supplies to citizens instead of medics selling them. I have talked with James (Deaforb) James (Deaforb) and he also agrees with this idea and he is willing to help me on this venture if it was successful. If this gets approved I am willing to get all the paperwork/requirements to start this company.

when venture came to me to suggest this, i sent him here, i feel this would engage in more player based RP jobs and id be more than willing to dedicate some time and help out if this was successfully approved into the city.

Well, honestly, you don't need to make a suggestion like this for it to happen. I suggest you work on writing up a solid SOP and bring that forward to the GTA Leadership team. It's a solid idea but you need to sit down and really write the whole thing up and work out any kinks you can foresee happening.

The suggestion helps get feedback to write up a solid SOP.

Suggestions allow ideas to be out in the open. It helps prevent any idea from being thrown away by an individual that does not like it, although the rest of the community does.

True enough. Not saying to "not make a suggestion" - especially if you don't have a solid foundation for what you want to do and how you want to do it. Just, people do seem to think that there's a lot that they can't do but you can... by roleplaying it. For this idea, you would need Leadership assistance to get those supplies and such though, which is where submitting a solid SOP comes into play.

I really like this idea. I want to see this be a thing. I'm not a fan of Police and EMS having unlimited supply of these things and they should be buying them from a third-party like this idea suggests. I also would prefer to be able to buy bandages and medkits from a company and not a medic.

I simply made this suggestion to see what people wanted and what they thought just in case if we do get rejected we wont have all this wasted time on SOP etc. I have a clear vision of what I want of this company and how everything should operate.

I think that's a good idea. If you need any help writing a SOP, feel free to reach out. :)

I think that a company like this could bring great roleplay to the server, and can also be very helpful for the EMS / PD. I think this is an awesome Idea and this could create some great scenarios for a lot of people. My only issue is how you wish to proceed currently, EMS sells bandages to the General Public and Medkits to the PD. This is a large part of their economy and taking those away from them in my eyes would seem kinda unfair. Although you are completely entitled to purchase bandages from EMS and sell them on your own, or maybe even possibly work out a deal with a shipping company to Import some in for you. Once you get an SOP and a bit of structure first. Make an IC Government Request, to request a Business License and you guys can carry it out through there.

I think it should be a non profit organisation that funds the emergency services I the city and other organisations

We pay 500k+ every month for medical supplies. Not sure where the "free" idea came from :/

To be fair... half a million a month for EMS and PD is like peanuts. Might as well be free :P

Would be a great addition. Pillbox would be able to prescribe medications

God I wish this was true. I'm not sure if you've noticed but our only source of income is from billing people that are admitted to Pillbox & selling medkits/bandages (here's a secret - nearly nobody buys bandages). Our bills themselves arent high either, with the average being $4000 (Last time we bumped it up, all we received from the community was anger).
If you like, EMS can easily bump our prices two fold or five fold.
Also something for you all to think about, considering that everybody has an abnormal attraction to gas stations and bullets, if these "pharmacies" aren't on to sell medkits (we burn through medkits like no tomorrow), you don't get revived.

You guys get bandages for free though even if they are rarely used.
They only get them for free due to them having a contract with us which includes a 500k monthly payment upfront.

Lol yeah I was mainly kidding. PD do make a killing though. Honestly the richest people in the city are probably cops. EMS though, different story.

I like this idea but there needs to be a solid gameplan for it... completely eliminating EMS's supply to help the people of the city and only going through this pharmacy company doesn't seem like the best gameplan. However, maybe EMS would have to be smart about their stock and fork up a decent amount to get a solid inventory going that stays cushy... Lots of variables.
