So I got myself an ASUS ROG laptop from around 10 years ago. It didnt come with the optical drive or hard drives included, so I tried to install Win 7 HP using a usb drive. However, the bios thought that the usb drive was itself a hard drive, so it ignored my ssd & decided to install win 7 on the usb drive itself. I have no idea how to bypass this until I buy an optical drive to burn the image.
